Pixel Art Works

Digital

Being a big fan of retro gaming and pixel art in general, I decided to take my trusty Ipad and learn how to create my own Pixel Art Works. Here are just a few examples of what I have done so far! I really enjoy the limitations of pixel art and love working within them to create memorable, colourful images.

Redline

This piece is based on  the anime ‘Redline’ and features main characters JP and Sonoshee McLaren. i wanted to keep this piece generally flat in colour to recreate the style of the anime.

Dragon%20Ranger

Dragon Ranger

As a big Power Rangers fan growing up, I had to do something that featured my favourite Power Ranger, the Green Ranger. This was a fun piece to do, and I enjoyed trying to recreate the shine on his Golden armour.

Monkey King

‘Monkey King’ is a fictional game idea that I came up with where as the main character, he battles with the 7 deadly Monleys as they plot to overthrow him. This battle would play out in a platform style game inspired by Mario.

Black RX

This pixel art  is of Kamen Rider Black RX. Kamen Rider is a series that I’m a big fan of so I really enjoyed creating this artwork. The background explosions took a while to do but I had fun combining the different colours together.
